Building a Living Brand Through Story-Driven Content

As Frontdoor evolved and built their brand space within digital home services, the brand needed a content ecosystem that could scale across channels while reinforcing its value in everyday life. The goal was to move beyond functional messaging and create a body of work that felt human, relevant, and inherently connected to the homeowner experience.

As Creative Director and Designer, I led the creation of brand-centric photography, custom video, and motion design—producing a flexible content library designed to power Frontdoor’s digital ecosystem and support ongoing advertising efforts.

The objective

Frontdoor’s services and their app simplifies how homeowners manage repairs and fix appliances, but the story wasn’t just about technology. It was about peace of mind, convenience, and confidence in moments that typically cause stress.

The challenge was to create content that could:

  • Scale across digital touchpoints and campaigns
  • Feel authentic to modern homeowner lifestyles
  • Promote the app and their services through authentic and relatable photography and video content
  • Establish a recognizable visual tone for the brand
  • Support both immediate marketing needs and long-term brand equity
The Solution

Rather than producing one-off campaign assets, I approached the work as a connected brand system while ensuring every photo, frame, and motion element contributed to a cohesive visual narrative.

The content focused on real-life homeowner moments with spaces that felt lived in, approachable, and believable.

We emphasized:

  • Natural environments over staged perfection
  • Relatable scenarios that reflected everyday ownership
  • Emotional ease rather than repair anxiety
  • Technology presented as supportive, not intrusive

The mobile app became a quiet hero within the story—present when needed, never forced.

The Outcome

The work established a scalable content foundation that could continuously feed Frontdoor’s growing digital presence.

It enabled:

  • Stronger visual consistency across channels
  • More engaging advertising creative
  • A clearer emotional connection to the brand
  • Ongoing support for app awareness and adoption
Brand commercial concept and production

When Frontdoor prepared to introduce a new product and brand to the market, the moment called for more than advertising; it required a debut that could establish credibility, communicate value quickly, and differentiate the company in a crowded home services category.

As Creative Director, I partnered with Fallon, collaborating closely to concept and produce a series of broadcast commercial spots designed to bring the new brand to life and introduce a smarter, more modern approach to home repair.
