It continues to innovate in areas like digital healthcare delivery, population health, and expanded care offerings while maintaining its mission to make healthcare more affordable, accessible, and member-focused.
Blue KC’s digital presence had evolved across years of growth, resulting in multiple web properties, sub-brands, and nonprofit initiatives that felt disconnected and inconsistent. The opportunity was to move beyond a traditional insurance website and create a digital-first brand experience—one that could serve members, attract new customers, and support community health initiatives from a single platform.
As Creative Director and Designer, I led the rebrand and redesign of BlueKC.com, driving the digital brand expression, ecosystem design, and UI, while collaborating closely with the UX team to optimize the experience across audiences.
